Central Africa’s infamous poacher arrested by Cameroon

Symphorien Sangha the infamous elephant poacher as well as ivory smuggler  was arrested by the Cameroonian Gendarmerie in the town of Yokadouma in South East Cameroon, where he is currently being held.

WWF congratulates the Cameroonian government and its law enforcement authorities for their triumph in catching this notorious poacher.  WWF added that, the authorities should do their utmost effort to remain Symphorien Sangha in jail as he has the history of disappearing after his former arrest.

Apart from being an elephant poacher, as well as Ivory smuggler, Symphorien Sangha was also responsible in opening fires on eco guards which left one of them crippled in the year of 2010.  In addition to that, the individual was most highly active in Tri-national de la Sangha, a place of rich biodiversity announced as World Heritage Site by UNESCO as well as being the guide man for Sudanese Poachers who were responsible of massacring 25 elephants in Central Africa.

*Those are some hot crimes you punk ass!

Bas Huijbregts, head of policy for WWF Central Africa said that this is the chance for the Cameroonian government to publicise the people on how serious this crime is.
